High School Bus Operations to Move to Bus Hub- Effective Sept. 14th

Due to the success of the Bus Hub located at 136 W. 8th Street, the Transportation Department will move the High School operations to this location starting Monday, September 14th, 2015.

The morning pickup times for all high school students will start 10 to 18 minutes earlier than current times that were listed on their schedule. For afternoon routes (pm), students will have 10 minutes to transfer from their classes to the bus pick up zones at their school of enrollment. Buses will depart at 3:34pm and go directly to the Bus Hub where students will then get on their home buses to return for the day. It is important that your child go directly to their bus loading zone so that they make their bus on time. Buses will not be able to return to the school if your child has missed their 3:34pm pickup time.

Students will need to call home from their home school should they miss their scheduled bus leave time, and no one will be allowed to walk to the Bus Hub from their school. Using the Bus Hub for your child’s transportation should help the process become more efficient and safer than ever before.

Remember, morning pick up times will be 10 to 18 minutes earlier than current times and all students will have 10 minutes from their last bell to board a bus home for the day.

This new program and schedule will start on Monday September 14th, 2015.
