Every Child, Every Day…Whatever it Takes! University Park Elementary Hosts Spirit Run

University Park Elementary Spirit Run

Thursday, May 14th

9:00-11:30 and 1:00-3:30

“My name is Anthony. I am 10 years old and have Limb Girdle Muscular Dystrophy and Cardiomyopathy. My heart is failing and I have to have a heart transplant. I will be staying at the Children’s Hospital Aurora and Ronald McDonald House for several months waiting for a heart and recovering afterwards. I love to play football and am a huge Colts fan! I have been spending most of my time watching tv, playing Xbox games and building legos!! I can’t wait to see everyone soon!!”

University Park Elementary is hosting a Spirit Run to raise money for Anthony and his family. You can run at different times throughout the day and can choose your distance. Donations are encouraged! For questions, please contact Vicki VanOordt, Carossa Seghetti or Principal Julie Hornby at 253-3800.

Please help us give to this amazing child!

Donations can be made to University Park (check or cash) as a fund has been set up directly for Anthony’s family.
