Discover how our kids are being empowered to create their future!
Natrona County High School hosted a Spring Test Fest on Tuesday, April 29th, to celebrate the hard-work of students on early morning ACT testing.
The Spring Test Fest is designed to maintain student excitement throughout what can be a stressful day. Students took their ACT test in the morning and then after the test’s completion, students and community members attended the many exciting events throughout the remainder of the school day.
During the afternoon’s events students were provided information related to the many dangers associated with distracted and drunk driving. Wyoming Highway Patrol was on-site providing students with drunk and distracted driving simulators. Students and community members also had an opportunity to meet with colleges from around the state, discuss suicide prevention and awareness with the Suicide Prevention Task Force, exercise on an inflatable obstacle course provided by the Army National Guard, and play Human Foosball on a table built and provided by Casper College. NCHS hosted a BBQ lunch for students, served by NCHS teachers and staff, along with desserts donated by local vendors.
