HR Stakeholder Committee Continues Work On District Recognition Plan

Division Stakeholder Committees have been created to assist divisions in obtaining input and feedback on tasks assigned to divisions by Cabinet.  The Committees are recommending bodies to their respective divisions and ultimately Cabinet. The Committees will use a consultative decision making process in formulating recommendations to their respective division and Cabinet.

Upon opening the meeting, Associate Superintendent of Human Resources- Dr. Crystal Mueller, verified committee approval of the minutes and norms. The first item on the agenda was committee work surrounding the District Recognition Plan. The committee broke into small group discussion regarding recommendations for the District Recognition Plan. The groups worked together to collaborate on ideas including ceremony, awards, gifts, venue suggestions and other various aspects in relation to the District Recognition Plan. Discussion regarding this topic will continue at the next HR Stakeholder Committee meeting.

Next, NCSD’s Retirement Celebration was discussed with committee approval for HR Administrative Assistant, Dawn Cummings, to begin work on venue and other arrangements for the celebration.

In closing the committee was updated with a brief summary of changes to the Employee Evaluation by Information Technology Director, Drew Walker. It was discussed with the new evaluation tool Administrators will be able to provide evaluation access to Assistant Administrators for employees. The update for the evaluation is in electronic format. The HR Stakeholder Committee will be provided with a more comprehensive update of the Evaluation Tool at the next meeting.



The next Human Resources Stakeholder Meeting will be on March 19th, from 4-6 pm in the Fairdale Room at Central Services.
