 Members of Committee (bold in attendance): Crystal Mueller (Leader), Dawn Cummings (Recorder), Mike Bond (HR), Verba Echols (HR), Jeff Brewster (HR), Drew Walker (HR), Stephanie Edwards (HR), Arlene Steward (HR), Andrea Nester (HR), Gayle Schnorenberg (NCAESS), Jana Shepperson(NCAESS), Rene Rickabaugh (NCASE), Tom Ernst (NCASE), Christopher Dresang (NCASE), Wayne Carlson (SEIO), Robert Minor (SEIO), Marci Kutzer (NCEA), Ardyth Fritts (NCEA), Carl Myers (NCEA), Doreen McGlade (NCEA), Tanya Southerland (Communications)

Division Stakeholder Committees have been created to assist divisions in obtaining input and feedback on tasks assigned to divisions by Cabinet.  The Committees are recommending bodies to their respective divisions and ultimately Cabinet. The Committees will use a consultative decision making process in formulating recommendations to their respective division and Cabinet.

Dr. Crystal Mueller, Associate Superintendent of Human Resources, opened the meeting by reviewing the minutes with the committee. She thanked the committee for their dedicated work towards the Stakeholder Satisfaction Survey and shared with the committee the document is currently being reviewed by NCSD Cabinet.

After opening remarks, Dr. Mueller led the committee in small group work regarding Employee Celebration and Recognition at NCSD. The small groups collaborated on ideas for a District Recognition Plan, including ceremony, awards, and other recognition suggestions. The committee members were tasked with reviewing ideas with their respected constituents and bringing forward additional input at the next HR Stakeholder meeting.

Following the small group work, the HR Stakeholder committee received an updated report and brief online presentation from Drew Walker, NCSD Information Technology Manager, in respect to the updated Employee Online. He shared with the committee that NCSD Information Technology will be working with Community Relations to create “how to” tutorials for employee use in accessing and utilizing Employee Online.


The next Human Resources Stakeholder Meeting will be on February 19th, from 4-6 pm in the Fairdale Room at Central Services.
