HR Stakeholder Meeting Communication

Division Stakeholder Committees have been created to assist divisions in obtaining input and feedback on tasks assigned to divisions by Cabinet. The Committees are recommending bodies to their respective divisions and ultimately Cabinet. The Committees will use a consultative decision making process in formulating recommendations to their respective division and Cabinet.

Opening the committee work, Dr. Crystal Mueller facilitated discussion in regards to the draft proposal of the Employee Service Satisfaction Survey. After committee discussion the survey was approved to move forward for NCSD Cabinet approval.
The committee moved forward in discussions on Employee Celebration and Recognition. Associate Superintendent of Human Resources, Dr. Mueller and Mike Bond, Executive Director of Human Resources & Title I, facilitated discussion around a handout titled, “Encouraging the Heart”. Aimed at prompting group discussion regarding possible application at NCSD the committee collaborated on ideas for supporting District recognition and celebration.
In closing, the committee reviewed the “Draft Recognition for Stakeholder HR work” document and will continue small group work pertaining to this draft document at the next HR Stakeholder meeting. In addition, the committee will be tasked with discussing changes to, and reviewing, the District Employee Evaluation.
The next Human Resources Stakeholder meeting will be February 5th, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. in the Fairdale room at Central Services.
