Discover how our kids are being empowered to create their future!
Registration for students who want to ride a Natrona County School District bus this fall is now open here. (Links to the online registration form can also be found at the District’s website and Facebook page: www.natronaschools.org or www.facebook.com/natronaschools.)
This fall, the District is implementing a hub system in an effort to reduce the time spent on buses for our students. This system will require fewer buses in neighborhoods and will provide more adult supervision on each bus.
The number of buses assigned to each route will be based on the number of students registered at each stop. This will be done to ensure efficiency and decrease potential crowding on the buses. Students that register early, and actual attendance at each stop will be given priority. To ensure that your student has a seat on the bus, please register as soon as possible at the links above. Late registrations will be put on a wait-list until a seat is available.
To help parents and students with this change, the District will be emailing and calling all parents to give them more reminders and information about the changes and registration. Also, beginning in mid-August, bus drivers will call parents to give them details on their child’s bus stop and times for pick-up/drop-off.
NCSD hopes this new system will improve your child’s experience with our transportation system and will save tax dollars by making routes more efficient.
