Discover how our kids are being empowered to create their future!
The Natrona County School District will conduct its annual online open enrollment for the 2014-15 school year from Jan. 17–31, 2014. Open houses are scheduled at most NCSD schools between Jan. 7–16 for your convenience and to help you choose a school.
This process is designed to allow families to request their top three choices for schools. It is targeted specifically at families who are new to the district, those who have children changing schools, and those who have a student starting kindergarten, middle school, or high school in the 2014-15 school year.
Families of current students will receive information on this process in the mail in early January or through email. They will get a catalog detailing all of the district’s schools and programs. They also will receive a separate letter providing them with a username and password for the school request process. When they visit www.natronaschools.org, they will be asked to enter the username and password, then they will be allowed to request three schools for their child.
Families who are new to the district can pick up catalogs and additional information from any school or the Enrollment Office located in the Student Support Services Building (920 S. Beverly St.) All publications also are available online at www.natronaschools.org.
Families who need help translating information, can contact our bilingual specialist at (307) 253-3171.
Those who miss this open enrollment window will have fewer choices of schools in the fall of 2014. The open enrollment process is crucial to helping the district plan for the number of students at each school and assign staff members appropriately.
