Discover how our kids are being empowered to create their future!
The construction fences are in place. The heavy equipment has rolled on site. Hard hats dot the landscape. Beyond these signs of activity, to a passer-by it’s hard to discern what is going on beyond the barricades. As the district begins construction on its two largest high schools, curiosity is growing among neighbors, alumni, staff, parents, current students and the community at large.
Now you don’t have to rubberneck as you pass by or try to peer through the holes in the fence to figure out how progress is coming along. Sampson Construction has installed a webcam at Kelly Walsh High School to give you the best view of the campus as it undergoes its makeover. The webcam is accessible over an internet connection and provides four different views of KW’s campus, updating about every 45 minutes. You can view images taken in the past and watch a time lapse. It even features current weather conditions at that site.
The webcam was built into the contract between Sampson Construction and NCSD to provide the public up-to-date views of the project. A similar option will be available soon at Natrona County High School.
