Stuff the Bus with Toys of Joy

ToysBusThe generous spirit of Casper’s school children was showcased this week in the annual “Stuff the Bus with Toys of Joy” event. Since the beginning of December, children were invited to bring new, unwrapped toys to their school. On Dec. 18, the NCSD Transportation Department deployed buses to pick up all the donated toys and in turn, gave them to the Salvation Army.

Organizers say they with all the toys that were donated, they believe this program will benefit more than 1,300 kids this holiday season.

Special thanks to NCSD staff and schools, along with the bus driver for the work to make this event a success.
