Students Give Back

ManorShoppingThird grade students used a social studies lesson in learning how to be a helper in the community to make a big difference for other kids in our community. The Manor Heights class sold 50/50 raffle tickets to raise money to buys gifts for those in need. In total, the kids raised $3,442 in ticket sales. Another $3,176 in business and personal donations were given. After splitting the 50/50 pot with the raffle winner, the class was able to spend $4,897 for gifts and donate them to the Salvation Army for its annual toy distribution.

All Manor Heights 3rd graders and teachers wish to thank the following businesses and individual donors for their generous donations toward the 5th Annual Giving Tree Project:
609 Consulting, Inc., Cowboy State Fitness Equipment, Richardson Trucking, Tri-State Trucking, East Side Homes, RNT Consulting LLC, Crimm Exploration, Janet Getter, Kathy Catellier, Rhonda Collins, Wal-Mart, and Jason Barthel.
