NCEA Festival of Trees Donation

The Natrona County Education Association's "Boughs of Bounty" Tree

The Natrona County Education Association’s “Boughs of Bounty” Tree

The Natrona County Education Association entered a tree in the Special Olympics Festival of Trees held at the end of November.  The NCEA’s tree was “Boughs of Bounty”.  The tree was a triangular shaped wood bookcase that was painted green and decorated with lights and tinsel.  The NCEA book tree sold for $1,000!!! The “tree” was then donated to the Child Development Center.

Books were donated by NCEA, Carla Howard, Marci Kutzer, Denise Smith, Gail Farrar & Paulette Hahn. Lumber to make the bookcase was donated by John W. Ake. The tree bookcase was designed and made by Stan & Paulette Hahn and John Ake.

The following excerpt is from the auction brochure:

“Donated by the Natrona County Education Association and its members.  The teachers of Natrona County encourage you to read to the children in your life daily.”

Thank you to all who helped!
